The windscreen surround is a common rot spot, as moisture gets trapped beneath the Stainless screen trims.
The inner scuttle was suprisingly sound. It was cleaned and Zinc coated......
Before the fabricated repair was let in. Despite appearances - the windscreen IS removed! The glass is damaged and being replaced - so it is a stand in shield to the interior trim!
The upper section of the screen surround had also corroded through.
